Yosemite and Mariposa County
History Tours

For a number of years, Leroy Radanovich has conducted tours of Mariposa County and Yosemite for the purpose of teaching the history of this county and as photography tour director for 13 years.  He has also taught traditional photography for Merced College Adult Section in Mariposa as will as other colleges and or special interest groups. Having worked in Yosemite for more than 36 years he has obtained a knowledge of many locations, based on time of year, time of day and as Tourism Director for Mariposa County until September of 2008, knows all the resorts, service locations and the  key providers in Mariposa County and Yosemite.  

Leroy specializes in large and medium format photography, is an experienced darkroom worker having printed most of the historic displays in Yosemite National Park.   Like most serious photographers, Leroy adapted to digital images and works both with the digital files as well as those created from traditional negatives and prints.  Most of his printing is done on a Epson 3800 pigment printer and has access to professional services for larger displays.
